Mark Kosowski, Technical Executive, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
Mark Kosowski is a Technical Executive at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and is currently the committee chair for SAE J3105 Automatic Conductive Charging of Heavy-duty transportation (4 years). Mark also leads the Bus and Truck Working Council and is a member of the EPRI’s Infrastructure Working Council (IWC). He was the original committee chair for the J1772 charging standard in 1993, has been an SAE member for more than 45 years, and he eads the NYC Transit bus program for EPRI.
Recently, Mark was the Program Manager of the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) Medium-Duty Truck Demonstration and Evaluation Program.
Prior to joining EPRI in 2009, Mark held the position of Assistant Chief Engineer of Hybrids at General Motors. He worked at GM for almost 40 years.
Mark holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from General Motors Institute (AKA Kettering University).
